Age limit:

You must be aged 18 to 30 (inclusive) to apply for  a Residencia Temporal Working Holiday permit

Visa duration:

Up to one year (at the discretion of the Chilean Immigration Authorities)

Conditions:

You must:

  • Meet the age requirement (18-30) at the time of application
  • Possess a valid Irish passport and be habitually resident in Ireland
  • NOT be accompanied by a spouse, partner, children, or other family members, however they can opt to apply for the programme separately if eligible
  • Have a return ticket and/or proof of sufficient funds to buy one
  • Prove sufficient funds to support yourself for the duration of your stay
  • Hold medical and comprehensive hospitalization insurance, as well as civil liability insurance to cover you for the duration of your stay
  • Obtain a medical certificate in accordance with immigration legislation
  • Have the primary reason for your stay be vacation – sporadic work is permitted but not as a means to support your stay
