Irish diaspora support is at the heart of what we do. Our work is made possible thanks to funding from the Government of Ireland’s Emigrant Support Programme and our parent body, Crosscare.
Emigrant Support Programme
The Emigrant Support Programme (ESP) is a tangible expression of the Government of Ireland’s support of, commitment to, and interest in the global Irish community. It aims to strengthen the international Irish community and its bond with Ireland. Since its inception in 2004, the ESP has supported initiatives that have clear and identifiable impacts on strengthening global Irish communities. The Irish Abroad Unit in the Department of Foreign Affairs manages and coordinates the programme, in partnership with Ireland’s embassies and consulates abroad. Crosscare Irish Diaspora Support Project is grateful to have earned programme’s backing and endorsement for over a decade.
