Age Limit:
You must be aged 18 to 35 (inclusive) to apply for this visa
Visa Duration:
You must enter Australia within twelve months from the date your visa is granted. Your visa is then valid for up to twelve months from the date you enter Australia. You may be eligible to apply for a second and third working holiday visa if you meet certain conditions.
Conditions:
- You can study for up to four months
- You can work for up to six months with each employer
- You cannot be accompanied by a spouse or dependent children
- You must meet certain character requirements and health criteria
- You must have enough money to support yourself for the initial stage of your holiday (guide of 5,000 AUD)
- You can leave and re-enter Australia as much as you want while the visa is valid
- You can do three months of specified work to become eligible for a second Working Holiday visa

Do not book travel until your visa has been approved. Due to the high number of Working Holiday (subclass 417) visa applications, your application may take longer than usual to be finalised.
