This week, we are excited to welcome our European partners from across the European Union for a three day kick-off meeting of the new ‘European Return and Migration Network (ERMiNe)’ in Dublin.
Promoting Intra-European Mobility
This EU funded learning exchange project is dedicated to advancing intra-European mobility and strengthening the rights of EU migrants by promoting social inclusion and improving access to services. Coordinated by Werkstatt für Sozialforschung e.V. (Germany), ERMiNe brings together key organisations from Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Germany, and Spain, including:

- Barka e.V. (Poland / UK & Ireland / Germany)

- Federación Española de Asociaciones de Emigrantes Retornados (FEAER)

- Safe Home Ireland (Ireland)
- Volvemos.org (Spain)
Through collaboration and shared learning ERMiNe will encourage best practices around the provision of advisory services to European migrants during their migration or return migration to their home country. Running through to February 2026, ERMiNe is funded by the Eramus Plus Small-scale Partnership in Adult Education programme.
Expert Speakers and Information for Irish Emigrants
Special thanks to EPIC – The Irish Emigration Museum for hosting us and our partners this week. We look forward to partaking in learning exchange workshops and hearing from a panel of expert speakers including EURES Ireland, the Back for Business Programme, Global Diaspora Insights, as well as the Irish Abroad Unit and Consular Directorate of the Department of Foreign Affairs.
